Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the hyphOS browser extension and related services at hyphos.app. By installing the extension or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

hyphOS provides tools for AI-powered analysis of web content. This includes, but is not limited to:

AI-generated summaries of web pages.
Creation of visual research graphs.
Storage and management of memos and citations.
Data synchronization across multiple devices (account required).

3. Account and Registration

To use the full functionality of hyphOS, creating a user account is required. Registration is done via Google OAuth or Magic Link (email). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Certain features of hyphOS ("Pro Features") require a paid subscription. Payment processing is handled by our partner Lemon Squeezy. Prices at the time of the contract conclusion apply.

5. Liability for AI-Generated Content

hyphOS uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to create summaries and analyses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content generated by the AI. Users should always verify critical information at the original source.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, access to Pro Features will continue until the end of the current billing period.

7. Governing Law

Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
