These Terms of Service apply to the use of the hyphOS browser extension and associated services on hyphos.app. By installing the extension or creating an account, you agree to these terms.
hyphOS provides tools for AI-supported analysis of web content.
Availability: The Provider delivers services based on the current state of technology. Due to dependencies on external infrastructures (specifically Google Gemini for AI models and Supabase for server services), no guarantee is given for uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance: The Provider is entitled to temporarily interrupt services for planned maintenance work. Such interruptions will be announced in advance where possible and do not constitute a defect.
Best-Effort Principle: Access to AI functionalities is provided subject to availability by third-party providers. Temporary delays or outages of AI models are beyond the Provider's control.
Creating a user account is required to use the full functionality. Registration is via Google OAuth or Magic Link (email). You are obligated to keep your access data confidential. The account is personal and may not be shared.
Certain features ("Pro Features") require a paid subscription.
Payment processing is handled by our partner Lemon Squeezy.
In the event of a permanent service outage (exceeding 48 consecutive hours) for which the Provider is responsible, the user is entitled to a pro-rata refund of subscription fees for the affected period. Further claims are excluded.
AI Content: hyphOS uses artificial intelligence to generate content. We assume no warranty for the accuracy or currency of this content. Users should always verify critical information.
Scope of Liability: In cases of slight negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties). In this case, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages (maximum up to the amount of the annual subscription fee).
System Outages: The Provider is not liable for damages caused by disruptions at Google, Supabase, or other third-party providers, unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the Provider.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Lemon Squeezy Customer Portal. Upon cancellation, access remains valid until the end of the paid period.
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
